This dish is a nice change to basic steamed broccoli. The raisins, garlic along with the red pepper flakes are the perfect compliment to basic broccoli and stir fried only in water.
1 bunch broccoli cut in small florets
¼ cup golden raisins
2 large cloves garlic, minced or sliced
Pinch red pepper flakes
Salt and Pepper to taste
In a large skillet, sauté the broccoli with ¼ cup of water on medium heat for approximately 3 to 4 minutes. The broccoli should start turning a bright green color.
Next add the garlic, raisins, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Cook an additional couple minutes until the broccoli is
done.
Serve as a side with a veggie burger or casserole.
